Being the PYP Junior Head Boy will surely go down as one of my most memorable experiences. I am deeply grateful to my council teachers for having groomed me through this experience and bringing out my true potential, while putting complete faith in me to perform. I hope I have made them proud! I have been an eloquent communicator, open minded and a risk-taker and the level of confidence I have attained will stay with me forever. The role of Junior Head Boy has made me highly principled and I have become a far more responsible student than when I started my journey; from wearing my badge and sash and taking my oath in school on stage to addressing my esteemed audience during my first assembly. I shall cherish the loving interaction with my council teachers while we worked hard and shared moments of laughter and fun. Each and every teacher who has come in my life from Grade 1 has left an impact on me and shaped my personality so a big ‘Thank You’ for your support and this prestigious opportunity. The experience as a Junior Head Girl has been amazing and I have learnt many things which I will never forget. I have worked as a team with my fellow council members and helped the school. I loved all the speeches, meetings and assemblies I had to conduct. I have also expanded my knowledge and become a more independent, confident, open minded and realistic person. I want to give credit to my parents, all my teachers and my peers for encouraging and helping me throughout this journey. In the last year I have learnt that the true meaning of leadership means to learn together and help others. I want to wish the new student council all the very best as they take this new role. I wish them a great journey ahead and hope they have a great lifelong experience as I did.
