Despite the past year being a year of new challenges, adversity, and change, it has turned out to be another successful academic year, thanks to the resilience of our school community. We are grateful to the Managing Trustee, Shri Jairaj Thacker, Trustee Shri Sujay Jairaj, and the Board of Trustees for their expertise, leadership, and generosity, which have led to the success of our school.
We’re thrilled to share that this year, we’ve been able to offer an array of in-person opportunities to our students to foster their personal growth and development as well-rounded individuals. These opportunities include IYC, annual production, annual athletic meet, JN Co-Op programme, science exhibition, PYP exhibition, MYP personal project exhibition, H.O.P.E.-Environment Summit, HMUN, EUMIND, visual art exhibition, MYP musical concert, inter-house sports and cultural events, and many other exciting events. Moreover, the school had also organised meaningful service projects, one of which is SVAYAM, where students could give back to society.
I am delighted to inform you that the IBDP Class of 2023 has received acceptance offers from prestigious universities across the globe. These include Imperial College London, University College London, the London School of Economics and Political Science, Barnard College, Northwestern University, the University of California-Los Angeles, Duke University, McGill University, the University of Toronto, the University of British Columbia, the University of Edinburgh, the University of Amsterdam, the University of Melbourne, the University of Sydney, and Monash University. They have also earned impressive merit scholarships worth C$453,000 from Canadian universities, $4,280,505 from US universities, and 40,36,160 from Indian universities. We are incredibly proud of their achievements and wish them all the very best for their future endeavours!
Furthermore, I would like to congratulate the IBDP class of 2022 for their exceptional academic performance in the May 2022 exams. Out of 104 IBDP students, four of them, Ahaan Chhatwal, Anushka Kanabar, Jai Kamat and Vivan Agrawal, have achieved a perfect score of 45 points in the IBDP board examination, which is a rare and remarkable achievement. Our MYP student, Shreya Prasad scored 55 points out of the maximum 56 possible points in the May 2022 e-assessment. Arnav Popley, from the IGCSE Class of 2022, secured 100% in mathematics, becoming a world topper in the subject. He received the "Cambridge Outstanding Learner" award from Cambridge. This is a testament to students’ resilience, determination, and the support of our talented teachers.
I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated teaching and non-teaching staff who have worked tirelessly throughout the year to create an enriching and supportive environment for our students.
The PTA organized several events this year such as Anand Mela, pep talk, teachers’ day and children day celebrations. Their contribution in our school community has been instrumental in ensuring our students’ success. Thanks to all the parents for their active involvement.
These exceptional outcomes reflect our school's unwavering commitment to academic excellence and the holistic development of our students. We believe that every learner has the potential to achieve great things, and it is our privilege to support and guide them on their journey. As we look towards the future, I am excited about the opportunities that lie ahead. Let us continue to work together to inspire, innovate and lead our students towards success.
Best wishes,
Jasmine Madhani
